“Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it's having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.
Vulnerability is not weakness; it's our greatest measure of courage.”
Brené Brown
approach
I take a humanistic, non-pathologising approach — meaning I don’t see people as “problems to be fixed,” but as beautifully complex humans with stories, layers, and the occasional plot twist.
Every client brings a universe of experiences, and I show up as my authentic, usually curious, always compassionate self to meet you there.
My practice is proudly neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming — because being yourself shouldn’t feel like swimming against the current.
Over the years, I’ve journeyed with adolescents and adults through all sorts of life stuff:
📚 academic stress,
🧠 navigating neurodivergence (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more),
🏠 complicated family dynamics,
🌙 sleep issues,
🔄 big life transitions,
💞 messy relationships, and
🌈 exploring gender identity, expression, and sexuality.
I’ve also worked with professionals from academia, finance, legal, education, media, and biomedical fields who were juggling anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, identity shifts, and the perennial “what am I doing with my life?” question.
At the heart of my work is creating a space where you can be your full, unfiltered self — free to talk, feel, question, cry, laugh, and just be.
I’ve trained in topics like gender and sexuality development, minority stress, and LGBTQIA+ mental health, and I also support parents wanting to better understand or guide their teens through these journeys.
No matter how big or small your challenges feel, I’ll walk beside you — helping you unpack, name, and make sense of your story (with empathy, not judgment).
The human side of me: I’ve been a vegetarian for over a decade, a proud advocate for climate action and animal rights, and the humble servant of one very spoiled cat, Willow. When I’m not counselling, I’m probably tending to my sun-loving plants, who seem to be doing better at self-care than most of us. 🌞🌿
I’m also a passionate cook of mood-boosting meals, an enthusiastic (if slightly splashy) swimmer, and a gym girlie on a humble quest to conquer her first pull-up. 🥦🏊♀️
